November 1 - History of Your Blog

This one is a bit easy for me, as I just recently started my blog on October 24th.

Yeah, I am something of a newbie, but I plan to make the best of it.

So while I do not have TONS of history behind my blog name and content, I do plan to make this one amazing blog - given the right amount of time and effort.

Let me start this story off right.
I was a blogger before for about 2 years. I loved every second of it.
I was well established, helped authors as much as I could and made some great friends out of it all. Then I started having issues with an author. She then got another author friends of hers involved. It got very ugly and very dirty quite fast. It got to a point where my personal life was being leaked and thrown around. They were visibly trying to force me to remove reviews I had posted of their novels simply because I rated them 1 and 2 stars. I refused to do so and things escalated from there.
It got to the point where I shut down everything and went away for about 6 months.
I missed blogging, my friends and the authors I had connected with. I wanted to come back. My husband and I decided that it wasn't safe for me to come back as my original self. MY ACTUAL SELF. Nope. Sadly, in this day and age, being yourself apparently makes you a target for hatred simply because your opinion doesn't match someone else's.. Oh well.

I am now Kenzi and I own Shattered Hearts Reviews. Some of you might thing my style of writing and other things are familiar & if you just MUST know if it is me - just ask (: I will be glad to share it with you.

From my previous blog, I have learned I want to do things differently. I do not want to just simply pimp myself out for the sake of numbers.

One of the things I am struggling with right now is followers.. Not so much the NUMBER of them, but finding ones who are actually interested in the CONTENT of my blog.. Does that even make sense? It did in my head, but we all know how that goes.

I know this is something I am going to have to work to gain. I do not want numbers simply for numbers. I want to find people are are just as interested in what I am writing about as I am in what they are writing about. That's what I want to get out of this. People to connect with, share books, laughter and friendship - even if it is just over the computer.
